AJ Fisher, MSc, CSCS, is an exercise scientist, inventor, researcher, and founder of HYPOXiX, where she combines functional movement, breathing science, and altitude training to help people improve performance, recovery, body composition, cognitive function, and overall well-being.
A former Broadway performer turned exercise scientist, AJ has spent more than 20 years helping clients optimize health, longevity, and performance. Her clientele includes celebrities, executives, elite performers, and major film and television productions seeking a performance and injury-prevention advantage. AJ is the creator of HYPOXiX®, a groundbreaking fitness and wellness system that integrates evidence-based breathing strategies with exercise to improve core function, nervous system regulation, recovery, and human performance. She is also the inventor of Ab-Ribbon® and BANDSQUID®, and founder of the HYPOXiX Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing research in breathwork and altitude training while making these tools and educational resources more accessible to underserved communities. Her ongoing research explores the effects of controlled breathing, exercise, and altitude exposure on metabolism, performance, cognition, and women's health.
